Local Bristol Cleaning Jobs
We match you with clients who live in postcodes BS1 to BS11. We will find jobs close to you to keep your travelling costs and travelling time to a minimum.
Domestic Cleaning Only
You will only work in local private homes - so no commercial cleaning. No lugging around cleaning products or equipment. The clients supply the cleaning materials to your requirements and cleaning equipment.
First Meet With Clients
Nearly all our clients require an initial meeting with you so as to make sure you are a good fit. If we have done our matching properly you will be. You can still decide not to take up the job if you wish to.
Regular Ongoing Clients
You make the arrangements with your clients directly so you can build up your own direct relationship with them and have continuous regular jobs.
Easy Payment
Hard working, efficient and loyal cleaners keep their clients longer. But if you loose one we can supply you with a replacement. Payment to you is from the client on the day or by other arrangements such as standing order that you arrange with the client.

As a cleaner with HomeGleamers, you’ll be working on a self-employed basis.
- You are responsible for your own tax and National Insurance
- You can earn up to the personal allowance (currently £12,570 per year) before paying income tax
- If you earn above this, you may be able to claim certain business expenses (such as cleaning materials, equipment, and travel between jobs) to reduce your taxable income
- You’ll need to register as self-employed with HMRC, who will issue you with a Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) number
- Each year, you’ll complete a Self Assessment tax return online. Many people find this straightforward, though you can use an accountant if you prefer

If you currently receive benefits, you must inform the relevant organisation when you start working. You may still be eligible for support such as Universal Credit depending on your circumstances.

You have been very efficient, setting up was easy. Akilah is prompt and cheerful. She leaves the house looking great, it’s lovely to come home on a Friday.
